Every town has a Hollow.

Even if it’s not on any map. It’s the place just past the ordinary, a garage with the door rolled up, a backyard project half-built, a quiet street where something interesting is about to happen.

In our Hollow, four kids and one very curious raccoon take on real-life problems in kid-sized ways. They build things, make plans, ask questions, mess up, and try again. Then your child gets to step into the adventure too.

Stories kids can step into.

The New Hollow Co creates story-based adventure packs for kids ages 7 to 10. Each pack starts with a story set in The Hollow, but underneath every adventure is a real-world skill kids can actually practice.

Not by memorizing a lesson. Not by being told about it. By living it.

Real-world skills, practiced through play.

The Hollow helps kids build problem-solving, responsibility, communication, confidence, persistence, teamwork, initiative, money sense, and creative thinking. The kinds of skills that matter in real life because they are learned by doing.

Why The Hollow exists.

Kids don’t just need more information. They need chances to practice becoming capable.

The Hollow gives them that chance through stories they want to read and adventures they can try in real life. A little story, a little adventure, and a real skill they carry with them.

A note from the Founder.

I started The New Hollow Co because I I wanted stories my kids would actually reach for, that also helped them practice the real-world skills they'll need as they grow.
